A catalyst for the treatment of an exhaust gas stream containing one or more of formaldehyde, nitrogen oxide (NO), and hydrocarbons, the catalyst comprising a first washcoat layer comprising Mn supported on a CuO—Al 2 O 3 mixed oxide, and a substrate, wherein the substrate has an inlet end, and an outlet end, wherein the catalyst further comprises one or more platinum group metals comprising Pt, Pd, or Pt and Pd, wherein the one or more platinum group metals are at least in part contained in one or more of: (a) the first washcoat layer, and (b) an optional second washcoat layer, or (c) optional second and third washcoat layers. Further, the present invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment system comprising said catalyst, a method for the treatment of an exhaust gas stream containing one or more of formaldehyde, nitrogen oxide (NO), and hydrocarbons using said catalyst.

Disclosed herein is a phosphorus modified UZM-35 zeolite, methods of its preparation, and methods of its use in hydrocarbon conversion processes, e.g., as part of a catalyst component and/or as part of a catalyst composition. Catalyst components with phosphorus modified UZM-35, their methods of preparation, and their methods of use suitable for petroleum refining applications (e.g., hydrocarbon conversion processes such as fluid catalytic cracking and hydrocracking) are described herein. Also disclosed herein are catalyst compositions, which include phosphorus modified UZM-35 and catalyst components thereof along with at least one additional catalyst component. Methods of preparing and methods of using such catalyst compositions are also encompassed by the instant disclosure.

The process includes providing a zeolitic material including SiO 2 and X 2 O 3 in its framework structure, wherein X is a trivalent element; subjecting the zeolitic material to an ion exchange procedure with one or more iron (II) and/or iron (III) containing compounds; preparing a slurry including the Fe ion-exchanged zeolitic material, one or more copper (II) containing compounds, and a solvent system; providing a substrate and coating the slurry onto the substrate; and calcining the coated substrate. Furthermore, the present disclosure relates to a catalyst for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxide, an exhaust gas treatment system for the treatment of exhaust gas exiting from an internal combustion engine, and a method for the selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides.

Disclosed are methods of dehydrogenating a light alkane gas (and/or light alkene gas), which include adding hydrogen (H 2 ) to the light alkane gas (and/or light alkene gas) in the presence of a catalyst composition containing zirconium oxide. Also disclosed are catalyst compositions containing zirconium oxide and methods of preparation thereof, where the catalyst compositions are useful in methods of dehydrogenating light alkane gas.

An emission treatment system comprising a hydrogen oxidation catalyst, the use of the catalyst for oxidizing hydrogen gas in an emission treatment system, and a method for heat generation in an engine exhaust system. The hydrogen oxidation catalyst is capable of increasing the downstream temperature to allow for a system providing enhanced NO x removal and decreased N 2 O emissions relative to comparable exhaust gas treatment systems.

A process for producing a hydrocarbon stream with reduced CS 2 content, comprising contacting a hydrocarbon stream containing CS 2 with a solid reactive CS 2 -scavenger which contains primary and/or secondary amino group-bearing hydrocarbon residues attached to a solid support, at a temperature in the range of from 0 to 300° C., and separating the obtained reaction product of CS 2 and reactive CS 2 -scavenger from the hydrocarbon stream.
